Many of these women patrollers have other careers, some working worldwide as mountaineering and heliskiing guides, so getting everyone together for the team photo proved to be daunting. In the end it took two attempts
a couple of months apart to shoot everyone on the top of the tram. Then, with a single clear image in mind,
I stitched and coalesced separate moments in time to create what I call a pentimental image, realizing my idealized cover shot of the whole team.
